I attended an outstanding class at LIght Photographic Workshops in Los Osos, CA a few weeks ago. Ben Willmore was the instructor. The subject was HDR and Light Paining…two favorites of mine. I had a terrific 5 days! This picture was a Light Painting of Victoria’s stylin’ shoes and some gorgeous flowers.

Fountains at Peterhof

This picture was taken at Peterhof near Saint Petersburg, Russia. All of the fountains operate without the use of pumps. Water is supplied from natural springs and collects in reservoirs in the Upper Gardens. A framed 13×19 print is part of the MHPC Gallery Show Water running the month of February.
Treasure Island Boatyard at Christmas

One of my goals in 2012 was to shoot the San Francisco skyline at night. One of my 2013 goals is to participate in the Santa Clara Camera Club’s PSA 6C competition on a monthly basis. This photograph is the result of BOTH of these goals. Photo was shot at f22 to achieve the star effect.
Christmas Memories

One of my favorite Christmas decorations is my Boyd’s Bears Nativity Scene. Every year I am so excited as I unwrap each cherished piece. This year I decided to capture the scene photographically. Now even though this year’s Christmas is a wonderful memory and each piece is packed away, I can re-experience magical memories all year long.
